Three levels of vehicle branding, priced by coverage
The biggest factor in the price is how much of the vehicle you cover - and the more you cover, the more the vehicle stands out. With a smart design a partial wrap can give you much of the effect of a full wrap, but a full wrap has advantages all of its own.
Vehicle signage and spot graphics
From $500 including GST
Contour-cut logos, lettering and printed graphics applied to selected areas, typically carrying your essential information: logo, website, phone number, email and services.
A good fit when:
you are on a budget and want clear, professional identification without breaking the bank - or you simply want to keep it subtle.
Logo and lettering
Contact details
Budget-friendly
Partial vehicle wrap
From $2,250 including GST
A printed design across roughly one third to three quarters of the vehicle, with the original colour smartly integrated into the layout - where it sits depends on the vehicle, the services you want to show and the design itself.
A good fit when:
you want more colour and presence than plain signage without paying for a full wrap.
Printed design
Original colour in the layout
Strong presence
Full commercial wrap
From $5,450 including GST
One seamless design across the entire vehicle, typically excluding the roof. It removes the limits on what the design can do: the designer gets every surface to play with, and your business gets the most exposure on the road.
A good fit when:
you want the strongest presence on the road, with the whole vehicle carrying the brand.

What counts as vehicle branding
It can be as simple as a logo and phone number on the doors, or a complete printed design across most of the vehicle. We handle car branding, van signage, ute graphics, truck branding and printed wraps for trailers and other business vehicles.
How to choose a level
It comes down to how much presence you want on the road and the budget you are working with. Every step up in coverage gives the design more room and your business more exposure, and a smart design makes the most of whichever level you choose. Tell us the budget and we will design to it.
Not sure which option you need? Send us clear side and rear photos, your logo and the main message you want on the vehicle, and we will recommend a sensible level of coverage for the budget you have in mind.
Vehicle branding for cars, utes, vans, trucks and trailers
Each type of vehicle gives us a different canvas to work on. Choose your vehicle type to see more.
Cars and SUVs
Door signage, partial wraps and full car branding
A branded car or SUV works for you on every commute, school run and client visit. A smartly incorporated design that works with the vehicle's original colour always produces great results, and perforated one-way vision film is an option for the rear windows: printed on the outside, see-through from the inside. Pricing usually sits between $2,250 and $5,450, depending on the coverage, the artwork and the vehicle itself.
Ute branding
Cab, canopy, tray or the whole ute
Partial wraps are very efficient on utes, and what suits yours depends on what is behind the cab: a well body, an aluminium tray or a canopy each give the design different room to work. A branded canopy reads from everywhere the ute parks, while the cab and tailgate carry the essentials. Tell us what your ute runs and we will recommend the right coverage for it. Pricing usually sits between $2,250 and $5,500, depending on the coverage and what is on the back.
Van signage and wraps
Cut lettering, partial graphics or a full van wrap
A van is the ultimate billboard: long, flat sides, a rear that sits in front of traffic, and the perfect canvas to showcase your business with a full wrap. If you want to stand out and have people notice you, talk to the Vinyl Wrapz team about wrapping your van. Pricing for a van wrap in Perth usually sits between $2,500 and $6,500, depending on the make, model and variant, and the exact coverage.
Truck branding
Cab graphics, hard-body wraps and trailer graphics
Truck branding runs from simple lettering on the cab, through printed graphics and full cab wraps, to a complete pantech or box body - or one design carried across truck and trailer so the whole rig flows as one. We use a mix of materials matched to each surface, and the artwork is adjusted to read from a distance, because a surface that size is seen from across the road, not up close. As a rough guide, truck signage starts from $1,000, a cab wrap from $3,000 and a box or tray wrap from $3,000.
Buses and people movers
People-mover signage and full bus wraps
A wrapped bus is the biggest moving billboard you can own. It towers over traffic, people photograph it, and every school run, charter or tour becomes advertising for your business. One bold identity or a full printed scene: at that size, the wrap does the talking. Pricing usually runs from $2,250 to $10,500, depending on the bus and the coverage.
Food trucks and trailers
Wraps for food trucks, trailers and coffee vans
A wrapped food truck or trailer is its own advertising: it pops, it pulls a crowd from the other side of the festival, and it makes you look established before anyone tastes a thing. The print is built for the work, too - it lasts, it handles the sun, and it wipes clean at the end of service. And we plan the design around the serving window, so nothing important disappears when you open up. Pricing usually sits between $2,500 and $5,500 - it is job-dependent, because food trucks and trailers come in every shape, size and type.

Coverage is the biggest factor, but it is not the only one. The vehicle, artwork and condition of the existing surfaces all affect the work involved.
01
How much is covered: Door lettering, a partial wrap and a full commercial wrap need very different amounts of design, material and installation time. It comes down to the budget and the effect you want the branding to achieve.
02
The vehicle: Make, model and variant, plus any modifications such as trays, canopies or accessories, all change how the job is designed, installed and quoted.
03
The artwork: A print-ready file takes different work from a logo and a rough idea, or an older design that needs rebuilding. Design is sometimes quoted separately from the installation.
04
Existing signage or wrap: Graphics already on the vehicle may need to be inspected and removed before the new branding goes on. Old graphics can also leave the surface needing a buff and a few touch-ups once they come off - removal and rectification are always quoted separately.
05
Materials and special surfaces: The film type follows the job: printed wrap film for the panels, one-way vision film for windows, and on some surfaces, such as truck tray sides, a fully printed rigid sheet gives a better finish than wrapping over them.
You do not need to choose the coverage before contacting us. Tell us what the vehicle needs to achieve and the budget you are working with, and we can talk through the sensible options.
Got a logo but no vehicle artwork? That is a normal starting point.
Most customers come to us with a logo, a few brand colours and a rough idea - that is enough to begin. Our in-house vehicle wrap design service turns it into signage and wrap artwork built around your actual vehicle: the doors, windows, handles, panel joins, canopy and accessories.
Useful starting material: your best logo file, brand colours, main service, preferred contact detail, vehicle make and model, and clear side and rear photographs.
01
Designed here
The layout, the printing and the installation are all handled by the one team, so the person laying out your artwork knows exactly how it will be printed and fitted.
02
See it on your vehicle first
We show you the design on the correct vehicle view so you can check the layout, information and coverage before we print it.
03
Clear at a glance
People need to understand who you are, what you do and how to contact you in a few seconds. We give the business name and main service the strongest positions, then keep contact details and supporting information clear of handles and openings.
What vehicle wrap design costs in Perth
Design is often included in the job price. Quoted separately, it really depends on the job: one vehicle or a fleet, how complex the artwork is, and what you already have. No vector logo? We can redraw and vectorise it - you are in safe hands.
Design, printing and installation all happen under one roof at our Osborne Park workshop. Here is how a branding job runs, from the first conversation to handover.
1
01
Step 1 of 6
Tell us about the job
We start with the vehicle, your business and the message you want people to notice. Photos and a logo are enough to get going. After the first chat we ideally get the vehicle in for a measure and photos, because the design works best off the actual vehicle rather than a template.
2
02
Step 2 of 6
Our design team works its magic
You get a photorealistic mock-up of the artwork on your specific vehicle, so you can see how it will look fully wrapped and point out anything you want changed. For some jobs it is worth sitting down with our design team in person first to set the direction before they get to work.
3
03
Step 3 of 6
You review the proof
You see the design and give us your feedback - depending on the job, the designer may give you more than one option to choose from, and you can request any changes. We never print anything until you are 100% happy with how it looks on the vehicle. Only then does it go into production.
4
04
Step 4 of 6
Our prints set us apart
Everything is printed in-house on printers, colour profiles and materials set up specifically for vehicle wrapping - proper wrap film, not signage vinyl. We print slower than most on custom profiles, and it shows: super vivid, super sharp, durable prints, with eco-solvent inks that stand up to Perth UV. By the time your vehicle arrives, everything is finished, prepared and boxed, ready to go.
5
05
Step 5 of 6
Professional installation
Installation runs to a rigid process: the vehicle is washed and decontaminated, the hardware the job needs comes off, and the vehicle goes into the bay before any film goes on. Our installers fit these films every day - it is what they do. Once the job is finished, it gets a full check against the approved proof.
6
06
Step 6 of 6
You collect the finished vehicle
We walk you around the finished vehicle, check the work with you and explain how to look after the graphics. And from the moment you drive out, the branding is working: people see it in traffic and wherever you park, and that is when the phone starts ringing.

Thinking about your own vehicle? Book a design consultation and talk it over, or send the details through for a quote. Either way you get a clear price and a straight recommendation on coverage.
Vehicle signage and spot graphics start from $500 including GST. Partial vehicle wraps start from $2,250, and full commercial vehicle wraps start from $5,450. Your final price depends on the vehicle, coverage, artwork, old graphics and condition of the surfaces being wrapped.
How long will you need my vehicle for?
As a general rule, allow one to three days in the workshop for a single vehicle. Simple signage can be quicker, and a full wrap or a job with old graphics to remove first can take longer. The design and approval all happen before the booking, so the vehicle only comes in for the installation itself - and if it has to be back at work by a set date, tell us when you enquire.
Can I supply my own artwork, or can you design something for me?
Either works. Most customers start with a logo, brand colours and a rough idea, and our in-house design team builds the artwork from there. You can also send complete brand files, agency artwork or an earlier vehicle design. We will still confirm the exact vehicle before preparing the final layout.
Can you match our exact brand colours?
Yes. Everything is printed in-house on colour profiles we have built for our own printers and films, and we match the print to your brand files or colour references. If a colour is critical to the brand, tell us up front and we will pay particular attention to it at the proof stage.
Will vehicle graphics damage the paint?
Graphics need sound, stable paint underneath them. Sun-faded, flaking or damaged paint cannot be wrapped at all - film cannot be applied to that surface. Resprayed panels, peeling clear coat and previous repairs can also affect how graphics come off later, so tell us about any known paintwork and send clear photos before we quote.
Will the vinyl hide scratches, dents or faded paint?
No. Wrap film is thin, so chips, dents and rough repairs show through the finish rather than disappearing under it, and faded or flaking paint cannot be wrapped at all because the film will not hold onto it. Sound paint with light swirl marks is fine. If you are not sure about a panel, send clear photos and we will tell you before we quote.
How do I look after the graphics once they are on?
Hand washing with a pH-neutral car wash and a soft mitt is best, and a regular wash keeps the print looking sharp for longer. Avoid abrasive polishes and cutting compounds on the printed areas, and keep pressure washers well back from the edges of the graphics. We go through the care for your specific film when you collect the vehicle.
How long does vehicle signage last in Perth?
Quality film fitted properly handles the Perth sun well, but no two vehicles age the same: sun exposure, washing and how hard the vehicle works all play a part. We tell you which products are being quoted for your job and confirm the warranty that applies in the written quote.
Can you brand a leased vehicle?
Yes, as long as the lease allows it - check the conditions first. We also plan around how long the graphics will stay on and what the vehicle has to look like when it goes back at the end of the lease.
Should I get vehicle signage or a magnetic sign?
A magnetic sign is cheap and comes off in seconds, which is exactly its problem: it is small, it fades and curls in the sun, it has to come off for every wash, and it reads as temporary. Fitted signage or a wrap covers as much of the vehicle as you want and works every hour the vehicle is on the road. If the vehicle carries the business every day, fitted branding is the better spend.
Can you remove old signage, and what does that cost?
Usually, yes. Removal is always quoted separately, because the work depends on the age and condition of the existing film and the paint underneath - old graphics can take much longer to strip, and can leave the surface needing a buff and touch-ups once they come off. Send current photos and tell us what you want to change.
What if my phone number or logo changes later, or one panel gets damaged?
Often we can update or replace just that section. We can work from the approved artwork, but new print may look slightly different beside graphics that have spent years in the sun. We will check the surrounding film and paint before quoting the update.
