Who we are

Vinyl Wrapz started as a family business and grew into a proper wrap shop.

We wrap and protect vehicles for private owners, businesses, dealerships and government fleets across Perth. Colour change wraps, paint protection film, vehicle branding and fleet signage, and boat wraps all happen in our Osborne Park workshop, split into a PPF division and a fleet division, with the design and print work handled in-house as well.

It began as a family business and it is still family owned. What has changed is the size of it: a purpose-built workshop of more than 700 square metres, split into two divisions, more than ten vehicles through the bays every week, and specialist installers who each work in the one discipline they are best at. That is what lets us give a single car the same attention as a full fleet.

The team

Two names to know, and a team of specialists behind them.

Miles started Vinyl Wrapz and built it into what it is. Ogi runs the shop and will look after your car from the first call. Behind them are highly skilled installers, certified by the major film brands.

Miles, founder of Vinyl Wrapz

Miles

Founder

Founded Vinyl Wrapz and built the workshop around his own standard. More than 25 years hands-on with film. Runs the business day to day, gets on the tools whenever he can, and spends the rest of his time finding and training the next installers and keeping Ogi and the team on their toes.

Ogi, shop manager at Vinyl Wrapz

Ogi

Shop manager

Runs the workshop and every job in it. Ogi is the one you talk to about your car, the one who knows what it needs and how it should be done, and the one who looks after you from the first call to handover.

The people who do the work

Installers here are specialists. Each one works in the discipline they are best at, whether that is paint protection film, colour change, commercial print and signage, or boats. They are highly skilled professionals, trained and certified by the major film brands.

Apprentices learn on our own vehicles, never on yours. Every job is checked panel by panel under inspection lighting before it is handed back.

What comes through the door

Cars, fleets and boats come through every week. The special projects are the ones people remember.

Daily drivers and prestige cars, work utes and full commercial fleets, dealership stock and boats on trailers all come through the workshop. The one-off projects below are the ones people still ask us about.

Where we work

The workshop is minutes off the Mitchell Freeway, about ten minutes from the Perth CBD and an easy run from the northern and western suburbs. Most customers drive in from across the Perth metro area. For fleets, machinery and boats that cannot come to us, we install on site wherever in Western Australia the job takes us.

What happens when you visit

  1. 01

    Bring the car

We look at the paint together and put film samples on your own panels, not on a swatch card.

  2. 02

    Take a sample home

If you are choosing a colour, we can fit a sample on the car and you drive it for a few days before you commit.

  3. 03

    Book it in

A $500 deposit secures the dates and the material for most jobs, and there are courtesy cars while yours is with us.

Questions people ask before they book.

The short version of what we get asked at the counter. The full set is on the FAQ page.

Who owns Vinyl Wrapz?

Vinyl Wrapz is a family-owned Perth business founded by Miles, who has more than 25 years of hands-on wrapping experience. It runs from one purpose-built workshop with two divisions, a paint protection film division and a fleet division, with the main workshop at 18 Rowallan Street, Osborne Park. Ogi runs the shop, and the installers are full-time specialists who each work in one discipline.

Can I visit the workshop before I book anything?

Yes, and we would rather you did. The workshop is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Bring the car, see what is in the bays, and put film samples on your own paint. If you are choosing a colour, we can fit a sample on the car so you can drive it for a few days before you decide. You do not need an appointment to have a look, but booking a consultation means one of our specialists is free when you arrive.

Who will actually work on my car?

A specialist in that type of job. Paint protection film, colour change, commercial print and signage, and boats each have their own installers, highly skilled professionals trained and certified by the major film brands. Apprentices do not install film on customer vehicles. The person who quotes your job plans it, and every panel is checked under inspection lighting before the car goes back to you.

What films do you fit, and are you certified?

For wraps and paint protection film we fit STEK, Avery Dennison, Arlon, KPMF and 3M, chosen by finish and by how they hold up in Perth sun. We are an Avery Dennison ICS certified installer, which means Avery's warranty program stands behind our installations as well as the film. You know which film is going on your car before we start.

What if something is not right after I pick the car up?

Call the workshop. A lifted edge or a bubble is usually quick to sort, and we book it straight back in. Paint protection film gets a complimentary check-up one to two weeks after the install, every car leaves with a written care guide, and the film warranty is registered with the manufacturer on top of our own workmanship guarantee.

Come and see the shop before you decide.

Book a time, bring the car, and see the film on your own paint. If you would rather talk first, call the workshop.
