Full Truck Wrap for 701 Concrete Pumping

Mitsubishi Warrior | Full Cab Wrap, Rear Wrap, and Spot Graphics | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

When you’re starting a new business, branding matters more than ever. For 701 Concrete Pumping, a professional look on the road was critical to making a strong first impression across Perth’s competitive construction industry. Their Mitsubishi Warrior truck needed more than just logos — it needed a full, bold transformation.

That’s where Vinyl Wrapz came in.

We delivered a full truck wrap covering the entire cab, rear panels, and spot graphics on the concrete tank, creating a mobile advertisement that demands attention wherever it goes.

About the Client: 701 Concrete Pumping

701 Concrete Pumping is a Perth-based concrete pumping startup focused on providing reliable, high-quality service across residential and commercial sites. As a new entrant to the market, standing out visually was critical — and so was projecting trust and professionalism from day one.

Their Mitsubishi Warrior wasn’t just a tool — it was a marketing platform, and it needed to work hard for the brand.

The Vehicle: Mitsubishi Warrior Concrete Pumping Truck

Concrete pumping trucks like the Mitsubishi Warrior are built for utility, not beauty — which made this project particularly exciting. The surfaces were rough, worn, and even heavily contaminated with dried concrete, presenting a real challenge.

This wasn’t just about applying vinyl — it was about reviving the truck and turning it into a professional-grade marketing machine.

Wrap Scope: Full Truck Cab Wrap + Wrapping to Rear Tray + Spot Graphics

The project included:

  • Full wrap of the truck cab, including roof and rear sections
  • Spot graphics applied to the concrete tank
  • Side panels branding along the full length of the truck
  • Custom designed graphics tailored for maximum street visibility

This approach created a complete branding package without needing to disassemble major truck components.

Design Process: Built From Scratch In-House

Our in-house design team at Vinyl Wrapz started from a blank canvas — literally.
701 Concrete Pumping didn’t have any pre-existing wrap design or templates, so we created the entire look from the ground up, focusing on:

  • Bold, high-contrast colours
  • Readable branding at a distance
  • Clean linework that flows naturally across multiple panels

The goal? Make sure that even on busy job sites or in traffic, 701 Concrete Pumping would be instantly recognisable.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

This wasn’t a “park-and-wrap” job — there were serious preparation and installation challenges:

  • Concrete Contamination:
The truck was covered in hardened concrete residues from previous jobs. Before any vinyl could be applied, our team spent significant time carefully scraping, decontaminating, and prepping the surface.
Without proper cleaning, adhesion would fail — so attention to detail at this stage was critical.
  • Surface Texture and Wear:
After years of exposure and hard use, the truck’s panels weren’t smooth like a new vehicle. Applying the wrap required advanced techniques to ensure adhesion and avoid air pockets or wrinkles.
  • Tight Turnaround Time:
As a new business gearing up for contracts, 701 Concrete Pumping needed the truck ready fast. Our team compressed the full design, prep, and install into a tight timeline without sacrificing quality.

These challenges made the finished product even more rewarding: a truck that looked showroom-ready, despite its working history.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

This project wasn’t without its technical challenges:

  • Client Location:
KiPhone is based in Karratha, approximately 1,500 kilometers north of Perth. Coordinating logistics, design approvals, and vehicle scheduling over such a distance required careful planning to ensure minimal downtime for the client.
  • Material Application:
The KPMF iridescent gloss was applied in very thin overlay areas (like the hexagon patterns), making stretching, alignment, and placement extremely delicate work.
  • Finish Integration:
Achieving seamless transitions between the matte black and iridescent gloss elements required a meticulous prep and application process.

Despite these hurdles, the result is a wrap that looks like it was designed directly into the bodywork — a real testament to the Vinyl Wrapz team’s precision.
