Partial Vehicle Wrap – Toyota FJ Cruiser for Abroadly

Partial Vehicle Wrap - Toyota FJ Cruiser for Abroadly

Partial Car Wrap for Abroadly Toyota FJ Cruiser

Startup Vehicle Branding | App Marketing on the Go | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

In today’s competitive startup world, brand visibility is everything — and Abroadly, a travel-focused app company, knew they needed an innovative way to get noticed.

To help launch their marketing journey, they partnered with Vinyl Wrapz Perth for a partial car wrap on their Toyota FJ Cruiser — turning an everyday vehicle into a mobile billboard for their app and brand.

About the Client: Abroadly

Abroadly is a dynamic new app designed to help travelers make meaningful connections around the world. By combining social networking with travel planning, Abroadly offers users a platform to meet like-minded people, find events, and explore destinations together.

A strong visual identity on the road was crucial for raising awareness of the app among Perth locals and visitors alike.

The Vehicle: Toyota FJ Cruiser

The Toyota FJ Cruiser is a rugged, adventurous SUV — perfectly aligned with Abroadly’s brand values of exploration, travel, and connection. Its bold shape, strong wheel arches, and ample surface area also made it an ideal canvas for partial vehicle wrapping.

Rather than wrapping the entire vehicle, Abroadly opted for a partial commercial wrap — strategically covering key panels to create impact while remaining budget-conscious.

Wrap Scope: Partial Commercial Wrap with App-Focused Design

The project included:

  • Full printed graphics on the rear quarter panels and rear side doors
  • Integration of app store download buttons, branding, and QR codes
  • A mix of one-way-vision window graphics and solid vinyl
  • Subtle tropical themes to reinforce the travel vibe

The design showcases Abroadly’s app interface directly on the vehicle, making it a real-world, real-time advertisement wherever it goes.

Design Process: Concept to Reality

Vinyl Wrapz was tasked with bringing Abroadly’s ideas to life:

  • We developed a concept that showcased app screenshots in a dynamic, forward-moving layout
  • Incorporated QR codes for immediate user engagement
  • Added subtle design touches like palm trees to blend with the travel theme without distracting from the main app visuals
  • Balanced visibility of branding (logo, website) with clear calls-to-action (download the app)

The result is an approachable, fun design that instantly communicates what Abroadly is about — travel, connection, and adventure.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

  • Complex Printed Design:
The printed graphics featured numerous app screen layouts, requiring precise positioning to maintain a clean, professional look across door seams, window panels, and body contours.

  • Panel-by-Panel Alignment:
Due to the vehicle’s rugged body lines, extra care was needed to align the graphics perfectly across the different surfaces — ensuring logos, screenshots, and QR codes remained easy to read.

  • Small Business Impact:
Helping startups like Abroadly launch with strong branding is one of our favorite challenges — and seeing the FJ Cruiser drive out of our workshop with a vibrant, polished wrap was a proud moment for our team.

Key Materials Used

  • Vinyl: Cast high-conformability motorsport-grade wrap film
  • Lamination: High-gloss protective overlaminate for durability and UV resistance
  • Preparation: Motorsport-specific cleaning agents to handle burnt material residue

These materials were chosen specifically for the rally environment, where wraps must withstand gravel, mud, high temperatures, and frequent cleaning.

Full Bus Wrap – Mitsubishi Rosa for the Gourmet Camp Oven Experience

Full Bus Wrap - Mitsubishi Rosa for the Gourmet Camp Oven Experience

Full Bus Wrap for Gourmet Camp Oven Experience

Destination Branding | Touring Bus Wrap | Full Custom Wrap | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

A rolling billboard built to carry the flavours of the bush and the stories of Australia — one highway at a time.

There’s nothing more satisfying than helping a small business take its story to the road — especially when that story is as unique and passionate as Gourmet Camp Oven Experience.

For this job, we were asked to complete a full wrap on a Mitsubishi Rosa bus, used by the client as their mobile headquarters, tour vehicle, and brand ambassador rolled into one. This wasn’t a simple case of applying a logo and driving off — it was a complete transformation from a tired white bus into a vibrant, high-impact marketing tool that tells a story the moment it pulls into a campground, regional town, or festival.

About the Client: Gourmet Camp Oven Experience

The Gourmet Camp Oven Experience is exactly what it sounds like — a culinary adventure on the road. Founded by passionate cook and bushman Adrian, this business takes the humble camp oven and turns it into the centrepiece of an unforgettable outdoor dining experience.

With events hosted across regional WA, the Gourmet Camp Oven team needed a vehicle that could not only transport them but visually communicate the brand’s essence: traditional bush cooking with a gourmet twist, wrapped in Australian storytelling.

Their Mitsubishi Rosa bus does it all — and now it looks the part too.

Wrap Objective: Bring the Brand to Life, Panel by Panel

The brief was simple but ambitious: create a full vehicle wrap that turns a 2008 Mitsubishi Rosa into a moving, eye-catching expression of the brand.

The client came to us with a rough mockup and ideas about including:

  • A strong colour palette inspired by the outback
  • Iconic imagery from past events
  • Emphasis on fire, flavour, and the bush
  • Textural elements like timber, coals, and sky tones

From there, our in-house design team refined and restructured the concept, balancing colour, contrast, readability, and flow across the bus’s curved panels, windows, vents, and hardware.

Design Considerations and Execution

This was one of the most ambitious designs we’ve worked on for a single vehicle. Not because of the complexity of the graphics — but because of how much surface area we were dealing with, and how critical it was that every detail came together.

Key design components included:

  • A digitally printed full wrap featuring high-resolution textures and visual depth
  • One-Way Vision film applied to all side and rear windows, allowing passengers to see out while displaying the wrap design on the outside
  • Strategic use of brand colours, fire visuals, and logo placement
  • Real-world photography embedded into the background for authenticity
  • Tailored layout for each bus panel — roof to bumper

Our goal was to create something immersive, where every side of the bus tells a different piece of the Gourmet Camp Oven Experience story — from billowing smoke and flames, to the rugged metal of cast iron and the warmth of bush hospitality.

Materials Used

To ensure the wrap performed well in both visual impact and durability, especially with long-distance travel across WA, we used a combination of premium materials:

  • High-performance printable wrap vinyl with strong adhesion and UV resistance
  • One-Way Vision (perforated film) for all side and rear windows, allowing for full coverage without compromising passenger visibility
  • Protective gloss laminate, shielding the print from sun fade, scratches, and bush road grit
  • Adhesion primers and cleaners, necessary due to the bus’s age and uneven panel quality

All in all, over 45 metres of material was used for this job — including extra for trimming and alignment.

Special Touches and Highlights

This wasn’t just a “print and stick” job. Several additional touches helped take the final outcome to the next level:

  • Edge wrapping and under-trim finishing for a factory look
  • Full window integration using One-Way Vision film on all windows except the windscreen
  • Colour-blending across roof and body to give the bus height and presence
  • Clean alignment between printed elements across split panels and doors
  • Printed branding on the rear for highway visibility, critical for regional travel

Each element was mapped precisely before print — and again before install — to ensure every inch of the bus worked cohesively.

Challenges and Problem Solving

The Mitsubishi Rosa bus presented a few major challenges due to its age and condition.

  1. Surface Prep: Being a 2008 model, the bus had signs of wear — including mild rust, oxidation, and adhesive residue from previous stickers. Our team spent extra time:
    • Degreasing and cleaning each panel
    • Performing rust treatment on problem areas
    • Light sanding and surface correction prior to install
  2. Window Wrapping: With so many glass surfaces, planning the One-Way Vision layout was crucial. We needed to:
    • Avoid text over seams
    • Match wrap alignment across visible window frames
    • Maintain clarity from inside the vehicle
  3. Design Scaling: Working with supplied graphics meant reworking resolution and sizing across large surfaces. Our designers took care to enhance photo assets, stretch artwork where needed without warping it, and adapt logo placement for maximum exposure.
  4. Tight Turnaround: The bus had a limited downtime window between events, so installation was scheduled back-to-back over multiple days with full crew rotation to ensure completion on time.

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

At Vinyl Wrapz Perth, we don’t just install vinyl — we transform vehicles into rolling brand ambassadors.

When you work with us, you get:

  • Precision Installation: From large flat panels to complex curves and windows, our installers are experts at applying wraps seamlessly.
  • Reliable Communication: Especially important for regional and remote clients, we ensure clear timelines and efficient project delivery.

When size, complexity, and quality matter — Vinyl Wrapz delivers.

Why Full Bus Wraps Are a Marketing Powerhouse

For mobile businesses like Gourmet Camp Oven Experience, the vehicle is the brand. It’s the first thing guests see when they arrive. It’s how the business markets itself from town to town. It’s the Instagram post, the roadside attraction, the call-to-action.

A full wrap turns the entire vehicle into a visual marketing tool, offering:

  • Unmatched presence at events
  • High visibility during transport
  • Brand consistency, even in remote areas
  • Protection for the underlying paintwork

In this case, the full wrap elevated a simple transport bus into a fully branded customer experience — before the food even hits the coals.

Partial Van Wrap – LGV G10 for Ram Locksmiths & Electronic Security

Partial Van Wrap - LGV G10 for Ram Locksmiths & Electronic Security

Commercial Van Branding for RAM Locksmiths

LDV G10 Partial Wrap | Fleet Matching Across States | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

When it comes to fleet consistency, attention to detail is everything. For RAM Locksmiths, a trusted name in locksmith and electronic security services across Australia, maintaining a unified brand appearance on every vehicle — whether in Victoria or Western Australia — is critical for building recognition and trust.

When they needed to add a new LDV G10 van to their fleet in Perth, they trusted Vinyl Wrapz to deliver a commercial van branding solution that looked as if it had rolled straight out of their Victorian fleet.

About the Client: RAM Locksmiths

RAM Locksmiths provides comprehensive locksmithing and electronic security services for commercial, domestic, and industrial clients across Australia. Their reputation is built not just on technical expertise, but also on professionalism — and that includes their vehicle presentation.

Fleet branding plays a key role in building customer confidence and reinforcing their national presence. Whether a technician is arriving at a home, a retail center, or a commercial property, a clearly branded and consistent vehicle sets the right tone.

The Vehicle: LDV G10 Commercial Van

The LDV G10 is a practical choice for service-based businesses like RAM Locksmiths, offering the space and flexibility needed for carrying tools, parts, and security systems.

However, like many plain commercial vans, the factory white finish offered little visual impact.
That’s where professional commercial van wrapping makes all the difference.

Wrap Scope: Partial Wrap to Match National Fleet

For this project, Vinyl Wrapz completed a vehicle partial wrap on the LDV G10 to match RAM Locksmiths’ existing Victorian fleet.

The wrap involved:

  • Full printed graphics on the rear quarter panels
  • Large logo placements along the sides
  • A color-matched roof wrap section
  • Spot graphics over doors and rear panels
  • Key service offerings listed prominently

By combining printed panels with partial wrap techniques, we were able to match the original fleet design exactly — all while keeping installation efficient and cost-effective.

Design Process: Client-Supplied with Custom Adjustments

RAM Locksmiths provided the original design template used on their Victorian vans.
Our team adapted it for the LDV G10 shape to ensure:

  • Seamless flow across doors, panels, and windows
  • Correct sizing and scaling of all logos and text
  • Strategic placement of service lists for visibility
  • Consistent color matching using digital print calibration

Even minor misalignments would have been noticeable, so every panel was carefully plotted and applied to maintain the original branding impact.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

  • Tight Branding Guidelines:
Replicating an existing interstate wrap meant no room for creative interpretation — every line, curve, and colour needed to be identical to the original design. Accuracy was crucial to uphold the client’s national brand image.
  • Schedule Pressure:
The project was completed on a tight deadline to get the van into service quickly, minimising business disruption for RAM Locksmiths.
  • Panel Integration:
The LDV G10’s body contours are different to the Victorian fleet’s base vehicles. We adjusted artwork placements slightly to fit perfectly without disrupting the visual flow.

Despite these pressures, the final outcome was flawless — another branded vehicle seamlessly integrated into RAM Locksmiths’ growing fleet.

Key Materials Used

  • Vinyl: Premium digitally printed cast vinyl
  • Lamination: UV-resistant gloss laminate for durability
  • Color Matching: Custom printed to precisely replicate existing fleet colors

Using high-end materials ensures the wrap will hold up against Perth’s strong UV exposure, rain, and the daily wear and tear a work van faces.

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

At Vinyl Wrapz Perth, we don’t just wrap vehicles — we help businesses build trust and expand their reach. Our team specialises in commercial and fleet wraps where accuracy, speed, and durability are crucial.

When you choose Vinyl Wrapz, you benefit from:

  • Efficient Turnaround: We meet tight deadlines without compromising quality, helping your business stay on the move.

When branding matters, trust Vinyl Wrapz to deliver professional results that keep your vehicles — and your business — looking their best.

Why Professional Commercial Van Branding Matters

Investing in commercial van branding is about more than just appearances:

  • Brand Visibility: A moving billboard that reinforces brand awareness daily
  • Customer Trust: Professionally wrapped vehicles suggest reliability and attention to detail
  • Fleet Unity: Consistent branding across multiple locations strengthens national presence
  • Lead Generation: Every van trip is a marketing opportunity

A clean, bold, and well-executed commercial van wrap elevates a service business from local to national level — exactly the strategy RAM Locksmiths is following across Australia.

Partial Commercial Wrap – MG3 for Ray White Keevers Group

Partial Commercial Wrap - MG3 for Ray White Keevers Group

Small Vehicle Branding for Ray White Keevers Group

MG3 Partial Wrap with Bright Commercial Graphics | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

When you’re part of a large, recognized brand like Ray White, visual consistency across all marketing assets — including vehicles — is critical. For Ray White Keevers Group, their new MG3 needed to reflect the energy and professionalism of their real estate business while adhering to strict brand guidelines.

That’s where Vinyl Wrapz Perth came in.

We delivered a small vehicle branding solution that was vibrant, sharp, and perfectly aligned with Ray White’s corporate standards — turning their MG3 into a mobile marketing tool ready to turn heads across Perth.

About the Client: Ray White Keevers Group

Ray White Keevers Group is part of the broader Ray White network — one of Australia’s most respected names in real estate. Based in Perth’s northern suburbs, Keevers Group brings local expertise and strong branding to the communities they serve.

Brand consistency is incredibly important for real estate offices. Clients expect professionalism, and cohesive branding helps build the necessary trust from the very first impression — whether that’s on a “For Sale” sign, an office window, or a branded vehicle driving around town.

The Vehicle: MG3 Compact Hatchback

The MG3 is a compact, agile hatchback — perfect for busy urban environments where real estate agents spend much of their time. Wrapping a smaller vehicle requires smart design planning because the available surface area is limited compared to utes or vans.

For this project, the key was to ensure the commercial small vehicle branding was both visible and impactful without overwhelming the car’s compact body lines.

Wrap Scope: Partial Wrap for Strategic Branding

Rather than a full vehicle wrap, we executed a partial wrap strategically placed to maximize visibility:

  • Bright printed panels across the doors and rear
  • Integration with factory paint colour to reduce cost and install time
  • Bold placement of logos, slogans, and key branding elements

The partial wrap approach worked perfectly for a small vehicle branding project, providing high impact with an efficient and cost-effective solution.

Design Process: Collaboration with the Client

This project was a mixed design collaboration:

  • Ray White Keevers Group provided the initial concept layout
  • Our Vinyl Wrapz team refined the design for better visual flow, wrapability, and material fit

Working under strict brand guidelines, we ensured:

  • Colour accuracy matched the Ray White yellow and grey standards
  • Font sizes, logo placement, and spacing followed brand rules
  • Slogans and service highlights remained clear and legible at distance

Precision mattered on this job. Brand consistency isn’t negotiable for a company like Ray White, and we’re proud to have delivered to their high expectations.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

No vehicle wrap is without its own set of challenges, especially when strict brand standards are in place:

  • Precise Colour Matching:
Printing to exact corporate colour codes isn’t simple — particularly for bright colours like Ray White’s signature yellow. We ran several test prints to achieve perfect calibration.
  • Small Vehicle Surface:
On a compact hatchback like the MG3, the wrap area is limited. This meant perfecting graphic placement to ensure the messaging didn’t feel crowded or awkwardly positioned.
  • Design Adjustment for Contours:
The MG3’s curvy panels required slight design tweaks to prevent text distortion and ensure straight visual lines once applied.

Despite these considerations, the finished wrap was crisp, clean, and completely brand-consistent — exactly what a major real estate group demands.

Key Materials Used

  • Vinyl: High-quality cast vinyl printed with colour-matched inks
  • Lamination: UV-protective overlaminate for long-lasting outdoor use
  • Print Calibration: Tight colour control to achieve exact brand yellow and grey

These materials ensure durability while keeping the vibrancy of the branding, even under Perth’s intense sun.

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

At Vinyl Wrapz Perth, we understand that your vehicle is more than just transportation — it’s a key part of your brand’s image. That’s why every wrap we create is designed with strategy, precision, and brand impact in mind.

When you choose Vinyl Wrapz, you benefit from:

  • In-House Design Expertise: Whether you bring a rough concept or need full creative direction, our design team works with you to produce visuals that truly represent your brand.
  • Colour Accuracy Guarantee: We calibrate our printers to match your brand’s exact colours, ensuring complete consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Attention to Detail: From panel preparation to final application, every step is completed with technical care to ensure a long-lasting, professional finish.
  • Flexible Solutions: We offer full wraps, partial wraps, spot graphics, and commercial branding options tailored to your needs and budget.
  • Fast Turnaround: Our efficient production processes mean you’re back on the road promoting your business as quickly as possible.

We pride ourselves on delivering small vehicle branding solutions that are not only visually striking but also built to perform in the real world — day after day, kilometre after kilometre.

Why Partial Wraps Work for Small Business Vehicles

Choosing a vehicle partial wrap for a compact car like the MG3 offers multiple advantages:

  • Cost-Effective: Partial wraps deliver big branding impact at a fraction of full wrap costs
  • Efficient Install Times: Shorter turnaround means your car is back on the road quicker
  • Flexible Updates: Easy to replace panels if future rebranding or updates are needed
  • Visibility: Well-designed partial wraps create just as much visual impact as full wraps if executed correctly

For businesses with small vehicles, especially in industries like real estate, partial wraps offer maximum return on investment.

Project Summary:

  • Client: Ray White Keevers Group
  • Website: https://raywhitekeeversgroup.com.au
  • Location: Perth, Western Australia
  • Vehicle: MG3 Hatchback
  • Service: Partial wrap for small commercial vehicle

Full Truck Wrap – Mitsubishi Warrior For 701 Concrete Pumping

Full Truck Wrap - mitsubishi Warrior Truck for 701 Concrete Pumping

Full Truck Wrap for 701 Concrete Pumping

Mitsubishi Warrior | Full Cab Wrap, Rear Wrap, and Spot Graphics | Vinyl Wrapz Perth

When you’re starting a new business, branding matters more than ever. For 701 Concrete Pumping, a professional look on the road was critical to making a strong first impression across Perth’s competitive construction industry. Their Mitsubishi Warrior truck needed more than just logos — it needed a full, bold transformation.

That’s where Vinyl Wrapz came in.

We delivered a full truck wrap covering the entire cab, rear panels, and spot graphics on the concrete tank, creating a mobile advertisement that demands attention wherever it goes.

About the Client: 701 Concrete Pumping

701 Concrete Pumping is a Perth-based concrete pumping startup focused on providing reliable, high-quality service across residential and commercial sites. As a new entrant to the market, standing out visually was critical — and so was projecting trust and professionalism from day one.

Their Mitsubishi Warrior wasn’t just a tool — it was a marketing platform, and it needed to work hard for the brand.

The Vehicle: Mitsubishi Warrior Concrete Pumping Truck

Concrete pumping trucks like the Mitsubishi Warrior are built for utility, not beauty — which made this project particularly exciting. The surfaces were rough, worn, and even heavily contaminated with dried concrete, presenting a real challenge.

This wasn’t just about applying vinyl — it was about reviving the truck and turning it into a professional-grade marketing machine.

Wrap Scope: Full Truck Cab Wrap + Wrapping to Rear Tray + Spot Graphics

The project included:

  • Full wrap of the truck cab, including roof and rear sections
  • Spot graphics applied to the concrete tank
  • Side panels branding along the full length of the truck
  • Custom designed graphics tailored for maximum street visibility

This approach created a complete branding package without needing to disassemble major truck components.

Design Process: Built From Scratch In-House

Our in-house design team at Vinyl Wrapz started from a blank canvas — literally.
701 Concrete Pumping didn’t have any pre-existing wrap design or templates, so we created the entire look from the ground up, focusing on:

  • Bold, high-contrast colours
  • Readable branding at a distance
  • Clean linework that flows naturally across multiple panels

The goal? Make sure that even on busy job sites or in traffic, 701 Concrete Pumping would be instantly recognisable.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

This wasn’t a “park-and-wrap” job — there were serious preparation and installation challenges:

  • Concrete Contamination:
The truck was covered in hardened concrete residues from previous jobs. Before any vinyl could be applied, our team spent significant time carefully scraping, decontaminating, and prepping the surface.
Without proper cleaning, adhesion would fail — so attention to detail at this stage was critical.
  • Surface Texture and Wear:
After years of exposure and hard use, the truck’s panels weren’t smooth like a new vehicle. Applying the wrap required advanced techniques to ensure adhesion and avoid air pockets or wrinkles.
  • Tight Turnaround Time:
As a new business gearing up for contracts, 701 Concrete Pumping needed the truck ready fast. Our team compressed the full design, prep, and install into a tight timeline without sacrificing quality.

These challenges made the finished product even more rewarding: a truck that looked showroom-ready, despite its working history.

Installation Challenges & Highlights

This project wasn’t without its technical challenges:

  • Client Location:
KiPhone is based in Karratha, approximately 1,500 kilometers north of Perth. Coordinating logistics, design approvals, and vehicle scheduling over such a distance required careful planning to ensure minimal downtime for the client.
  • Material Application:
The KPMF iridescent gloss was applied in very thin overlay areas (like the hexagon patterns), making stretching, alignment, and placement extremely delicate work.
  • Finish Integration:
Achieving seamless transitions between the matte black and iridescent gloss elements required a meticulous prep and application process.

Despite these hurdles, the result is a wrap that looks like it was designed directly into the bodywork — a real testament to the Vinyl Wrapz team’s precision.

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

At Vinyl Wrapz Perth, we specialise in tackling the toughest wrapping projects — whether it’s a brand-new ute or a hardworking concrete pumping truck covered in years of wear. No matter the vehicle condition, brand requirements, or deadline pressure, we deliver professional, high-impact wraps that are built to last.

Here’s what sets Vinyl Wrapz apart:

  • Full Commercial Expertise: We understand what service businesses need — durable wraps that look sharp and survive heavy daily use.
  • Advanced Surface Preparation: From trucks coated in concrete to rough industrial surfaces, we go the extra mile to ensure every panel is properly prepped for adhesion and long-term performance.
  • Custom In-House Design: Whether you’re starting from scratch or rebranding an existing vehicle, our design team creates layouts that turn vehicles into true marketing assets.
  • Precision Installation: Our installers treat every truck, ute, or van with the same high standards, ensuring seamless lines, maximum coverage, and minimal downtime.
  • Fast and Reliable Turnarounds: We know business doesn’t stop — that’s why we deliver on time, even for complex full wraps under tight schedules.

With Vinyl Wrapz, your investment in a full truck wrap isn’t just cosmetic — it’s a powerful tool that drives brand visibility and client confidence everywhere you operate.

Why Full Truck Wraps Work for Service Businesses

A full truck wrap turns your equipment into a 24/7 marketing machine:

  • Increased brand exposure: Every kilometer driven builds brand recognition
  • Professionalism: A clean, branded truck signals trust to potential clients

  • ROI: Compared to traditional advertising, wraps deliver high returns for a one-time investment

Partial Vehicle Wrap – Ford Ranger Raptor for KiPhone

Partial Vehicle wrap - Ford Ranger Raptor for kiphone

Custom Partial Vehicle Wrap for KiPhone

Subtle Branding | Iridescent Highlights | Custom Ford Ranger Wrap

Bringing premium branding to the Pilbara with a rugged Ranger that’s built to stand out — subtly.

For a lot of companies, vehicle branding is about big graphics and loud messaging. But for others, like KiPhone, the best statement is one that doesn’t scream. It’s smart, sharp, and intentionally understated — and when you’re running a trusted tech service across the Pilbara, a Ford Ranger Raptor with the right kind of branding can speak volumes without saying too much.

This project was a partial vehicle wrap completed right here at Vinyl Wrapz Perth for one of KiPhone’s key vehicles. The goal? Take a powerful Raptor and give it an identity that reflects the business — modern, bold, and confident — while still keeping it clean and professional.

We designed, printed, and installed a layout that combined matte black wrap film with KPMF’s green-black iridescent vinyl — chosen for its subtle colour-shifting ability that echoes KiPhone’s branding. With 8 gallery images to showcase the result, this vehicle now serves as a strong and moving brand ambassador across WA’s north-west.

About the Client: KiPhone

KiPhone is a mobile technology and repair provider based in Karratha, servicing the wider Pilbara region. They’re known for fast turnaround, high-quality parts, and a sharp, professional brand presence — from their website to their store fit-out.

While most of their work happens inside phone shops or onsite jobs, their vehicles are their most visible assets. And with long distances, rough roads, and high heat, those vehicles need to look good and hold up — even in the harshest WA conditions.

This particular Ranger Raptor is driven by one of the company’s directors and needed to reflect the brand with a personalised, sleek look. No excessive advertising. No clutter. Just a smart design that would look just as sharp parked at a job as it would pulling up to a client meeting.

Wrap Objective: A Tailored Partial Wrap, Not an Ad on Wheels

We approached this wrap differently from a full commercial layout. This wasn’t a billboard-style application — it was about precision, placement, and finish.

Our in-house design team created a layout that would work with the factory lines and stance of the Ranger Raptor, highlighting the vehicle’s unique presence while allowing the wrap to feel integrated, not just applied. The wrap included:

  • Hexagonal patterns and logo applications in iridescent green-black vinyl
  • Tailgate and side panel treatments with measured spacing
  • Minimalistic branding across the body — enough to turn heads without overwhelming the vehicle

The result is a layered visual experience. From certain angles, the branding fades into the black; at others, the green-black iridescence shines, catching light and revealing hidden shapes. That’s the kind of sophistication that suits a tech company like KiPhone — where detail matters.

Materials Used – Designed for Longevity and Visual Impact

To bring the design to life, we selected a mix of premium wrap films suited to both extreme heat and high-visibility detailing.

Primary materials included:

  • Matte black high-performance vinyl – providing a non-reflective, textured surface that forms the base of the wrap
  • KPMF green-black iridescent gloss vinyl – used sparingly for logos and hex shapes, shifting colour under light
  • Knifeless tape systems for clean, edge-free cutting around complex vehicle shapes

This combination delivers both visual impact and rugged durability, especially important in off-road or regional settings.

Design Highlights and Finishing Touches

The design was subtle — but the execution wasn’t. This wasn’t about filling every panel. It was about using space properly and matching the form and function of the vehicle.

Key highlights:

  • Hexagonal overlay on the rear tray and sides to echo KiPhone’s visual language
  • Tailgate layout balancing brand presence without overpowering factory aesthetics
  • Smart alignment of elements over door seams and body curves
  • Subtle curvature of vinyl cuts to match natural body lines
  • Balanced symmetry between driver and passenger sides for a uniform look

We even left some panels completely untouched to allow the matte black and factory paint to work together, letting light and texture do the storytelling.

Installation Process & Challenges

This job had a few tricky aspects — particularly due to the nature of the film and the remote location of the client.

Key challenges included:

  • Working with iridescent film in small cuts – it’s easy to distort and difficult to stretch consistently
  • Hexagonal precision – placement had to be near-perfect for it to look intentional
  • Remote client collaboration – KiPhone’s team is based in Karratha, so design approvals, proofs, and edits were handled remotely via video and screen share
  • Tight deadline – The vehicle needed to return north within days of delivery, so install had to be efficient without rushing

To ensure durability, all film edges were post-heated, sealed around edges and hardware, and given a 48-hour cure period before delivery.

Why Partial Wrap?

Partial wraps give clients flexibility. They’re more affordable than full wraps, but still deliver brand presence and protection. For a vehicle like the Ranger Raptor — already a high-spec factory design — this approach keeps the factory appeal intact while adding personality.

And from a business standpoint, it ticks every box:

  • Clear and confident brand identity
  • Durable materials built for heat and road wear
  • Visual consistency across fleet, even if others are wrapped differently
  • Minimal downtime

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

We’re not just a wrap shop. We’re design consultants, installers, and visual problem solvers. Every project — whether it’s one car or an entire fleet — gets the same level of care.

At Vinyl Wrapz, you’ll get:

  • Real attention to detail — because branding is more than a logo

  • Design that makes sense — for your industry, market, and client base
  • Installation by professionals — not shortcuts or fast jobs

From Perth to Port Hedland, we help businesses move smart, look sharp, and leave a lasting impression — even in the dust.

Why Branding Matters for Owner-Operators

Partial wraps offer an unbeatable balance between cost, impact, and flexibility. Especially when executed by experienced designers, they allow the best of both worlds:

  • Highlight key branding zones
  • Save on material and installation time
  • Retain the integrity of factory finishes
  • Enable future updates or branding expansions easily

In KiPhone’s case, the Ford Ranger Raptor partial wrap created a distinctive, head-turning presence while remaining true to their core brand identity.

Partial Wrap – Ford Ranger For Bucks Pest Management

Business Vehicle Branding for Buck’s Pest Management

Partial Wrap on Ford Ranger with Canopy | Designed & Installed by Vinyl Wrapz Perth

When you’re a solo operator, your vehicle isn’t just a way to get to jobs — it’s the first impression your clients have of your business. For Buck’s Pest Management, a trusted pest control specialist in Perth, standing out with a professional, branded work vehicle was essential for building client trust and growing their reputation.

That’s where Vinyl Wrapz came in. We partnered with Buck’s to design and install a bold partial wrap on their Ford Ranger and canopy, creating a business vehicle wrap that commands attention — and converts attention into leads.

About the Client: Buck’s Pest Management

Buck’s Pest Management is a locally owned and operated pest control business servicing homes and businesses across Perth. As a single-owner business, Buck’s needed to project professionalism, reliability, and expertise from the moment their vehicle arrived at a client’s property.

Effective branding was critical to:

  • Build instant credibility
  • Reinforce brand memory after visits
  • Help attract new customers through road exposure

The Vehicle: Ford Ranger & Canopy

The chosen workhorse for the business is a Ford Ranger with a fitted canopy — offering both the rugged durability needed for field service and the surface area perfect for impactful branding.

Working with a canopy introduces unique considerations:

  • Multiple materials (metal, plastic) requiring different vinyl materials
  • Maintaining design flow across cab and canopy
  • Creating rear-facing brand visibility

The Wrap: Partial Coverage for High Impact

Rather than a full wrap, Buck’s chose a partial wrap — strategically applying vinyl across the side panels, rear, and portions of the bonnet to achieve strong brand impact at a lower cost.

This included:

  • Wrapping the canopy sides and rear windows
  • Partial side panel graphics
  • Accent graphics across the bonnet and tailgate

Partial wraps are especially effective for owner-operators who want maximum branding without full-vehicle downtime or expense.

Custom Design: Built In-House for Brand Consistency

Our in-house design team at Vinyl Wrapz crafted a layout specifically for Buck’s brand:

  • Using their black, white, and red palette for bold visibility
  • Highlighting service offerings (“Pest Management”) clearly
  • Including contact details strategically for easy roadside reading

We designed for both moving traffic visibility and static driveway presence — meaning whether parked or on the go, the vehicle promotes the brand non-stop.

Install Details: Durability, Detail, and Deadlines

Given the Ranger was part of a dealership schedule, time was tight. Our team coordinated closely to complete:

  • Full vehicle decontamination pre-wrap
  • Hardware removal (handles, trims) to wrap underneath for longevity
  • Tight panel wrapping with no seams or visible edges

All materials used were high-end cast vinyls with UV laminates, ensuring a finish that withstands Perth’s harsh sun and regular service wear.

Why Vinyl Wrapz Perth?

At Vinyl Wrapz, we specialise in helping owner-operators grow through smart, clean, professional business vehicle branding. Our wraps are:

  • Custom-designed for your business
  • Installed with commercial-grade techniques for durability
  • Scheduled flexibly around your business needs

Whether it’s a single ute or multiple service vehicles, our goal is the same: to make you stand out on the road.

Why Branding Matters for Owner-Operators

For single-operator businesses, your vehicle is your storefront on wheels. Studies show that branded vehicles generate:

  • Up to 15 times more name recognition than static signs
  • Improved customer trust (“they look professional”)
  • More organic inquiries from local visibility

Buck’s Pest Management now benefits from 24/7 passive marketing — every trip between jobs builds brand authority in their service area.
